Eric Staudenbauer knows where the bodies are buried. Plucked from the Zuma break in Malibu at the dawn of the exotic leather/silver evolution, "Staudy" passed on a promising career in sound for television and movies to develop his custom leather skills under the tutelage of Leather industry pioneers. On his path to becoming a master craftsman, Eric spent tireless hours creating stunning leather goods for rock stars and celebrities, as well as the occasional outlaw biker. Off hours involved the legendary Malibu nightlife, and sneaking in a slide down his favorite local surf break. His passion and artistic skills led to him managing the Bill Wall Leather dept. for the better part of 14 years, kicking out some of the sickest designs to ever see a red carpet, or mug shot for that matter!

2009 brings the introduction of Eric's own line of custom apparel and accessories aptly named "STOUT LEATHER". He is now free to apply his considerable knowledge and skills to creations that reflect his unique artistic slant. Stay tuned as STOUT LEATHER will continue to elevate the boundaries of cool in the custom leather genre.
